Soy contratado predoctoral (FPU20/03345) en el Departamento de Psicología de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili, donde estoy realizando el doctorado en Ciencia Cognitiva y Lenguaje bajo la supervisión de la Dra. Pilar Ferré. El objetivo general del proyecto de mi tesis doctoral es estudiar la relación/interacción entre el lenguaje y las creencias epistémicamente injustificadas o dudosas.
Mis líneas de investigación son:
- Las creencias epistémicamente injustificadas o dudosas (CEID). Algunas creencias, como las afirmaciones paranormales, pseudocientíficas y conspirativas, están ampliamente extendidas en la población y conllevan problemáticas tanto a nivel social como individual. Comprender los mecanismos psicológicos subyacentes a la formación y el mantenimiento de estas CEID resulta crucial para poder prevenir o contrarrestar estas consecuencias adversas.
- Las diferencias individuales en el lenguaje. Con el objetivo de extraer conclusiones generales o universales sobre el procesamiento del lenguaje, tradicionalmente las diferencias individuales han sido obviadas en la investigación psicolingüística. No obstante, recientemente se está apostando por estudiar de manera sistemática las diferencias individuales que afectan al lenguaje como un medio para avanzar hacia un conocimiento psicolingüístico más rico y realista.
- El procesamiento afectivo del lenguaje. ¿Dónde "reside" el contenido emocional de las palabras y cómo interactúa durante el procesamiento psicolingüístico? ¿Qué dimensiones definen el espacio afectivo de las palabras? ¿Qué factores influyen en el procesamiento afectivo del lenguaje?
